Deputies Snag Alleged Vandal

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, a man refuses to leave private property, an abandoned vehicle, and a traffic hazard blocks morning traffic.

At 4:05 p.m. Friday Aug. 30, a caller told deputies about a vandalism in progress near the Ortega Highway and the I-5 Freeway. Authorities arrived and checked the suspect for drugs before arresting him. The 19-year-old teen is currently in custody with a $20,000 bail set.

At 3:43 a.m. Friday Aug. 30, someone called the sheriff’s office to report a disturbance in the 32100 block of Camino Capistrano. A man was refusing to leave private property.

At 7:23 a.m. Friday Aug. 30, a caller reported an abandoned vehicle in the 25500 block of Purple Sage Lane. The informant claimed a red Ford Focus had been parked on the street for three days.

At 7:54 a.m. Friday Aug. 30, an informant told deputies about a traffic hazard near Del Obispo Street and Aguacate Road. A vehicle was stalled in the middle of the road and blocking traffic lanes.
