Drunk Restaurant Patron Requires Medical Assistance

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, a landlord and tenant get into a verbal tussle, a caller reports a loud four-person party, and a neighbor vs. neighbor fight over a barking dog.

EDITOR'S NOTE: While the Orange County Sheriff's Blotter identifies El Adobe restaurant as the place where firefighters were needed to assist an intoxicated person, management from El Adobe say the person was not a customer there. Originally posted at 9:15 p.m. Jan. 28, 2014.

At 3:15 p.m. Sunday Jan. 19, someone asked deputies for assistance near the cross streets of Camino Capistrano and Del Obispo Street. A drunken customer of El Adobe Restaurant was in need of medical assistance. Orange County firefighters arrived to help the intoxicated person.

Also:

At 8:46 p.m. Saturday Jan. 18, a caller reported a disturbance in the 26300 block of Kimberly Lane. The caller and a landlord were in a heated verbal argument. Before deputies arrived, the landlord left.

At 10:27 p.m. Saturday Jan. 18, someone told deputies about a disturbance in the 26900 block of Calle Esperanza. The caller said a group of four people was having a party in a local garage and was disturbing neighbors.

At 3:27 p.m. Sunday Jan. 19 a caller asked deputies to keep the peace in the 29600 block of Woodlake Court. The caller said she had been yelled at by a neighbor because of her dog’s barking.

These are selected reports from the San Juan Capistrano Police Dispatch Services log throughout the past few days. The calls represent what was told to a sheriff's deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher.
