Deputies Nab Drunk in Public

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, vandalism, an elderly woman walking in traffic and construction trucks running red lights.

At 4:22 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a man and a woman who seemed drunk in public in the 32100 block of Alipaz Street. Deputies arrived and arrested a 59-year-old man. He has since been released from jail.

At 2:13 p.m. Tuesday, someone reported vandalism in the 32700 block of Alipaz Street. The person said the vandalism had occurred in the office of a local building.

At 3:13 p.m. Tuesday, a caller told deputies about a disturbance near the cross streets of Camino Capistrano and Stonehill Drive. An elderly woman in a red shirt and white pants was walking in the middle of the traffic lanes.

At 11:16 p.m. Wednesday, a concerned caller reported reckless driving near the Ortega Highway and the 5 Freeway. The informant stated multiple construction trucks were running red lights and could potentially cause an accident.
