Drunken drivers beware. The Orange County Sheriff’s Department DUI Task Force says it will be roaming South Orange County this weekend to arrest alcohol and drug-impaired motorists.

DUI Saturation Patrols will operate from 7 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday in Dana Point, San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano, according to a Sheriff's Department press release. Deputies will zero in on areas with high frequencies of DUI collisions and/or arrests, officials said.

Funding for the program is from a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. If you see a drunk driver, call 9-1-1.
