Firefighters and Deputies Race to Separate Dueling People

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, a drunken driver swerves into traffic, the driver of a red Honda parks in some bushes, and a group of teens wreaks havoc on a local neighborhood.

At 9:06 p.m. Friday Jan. 3, a caller reported a disturbance in the 34000 block of Calle de Bonanza. Two people were in a heated physical fight. Onlookers managed to separate the feuding pair, but one of the arguers was extremely drunk and began screaming at the other person. Deputies and Orange County firefighters arrived to calm the situation.

At 9:59 p.m. Friday Jan. 3, a worried caller told deputies about a drunken driver near the cross streets of Calle Cartagena and San Juan Creek Road. A person in a white Honda was allegedly swerving into oncoming traffic.

At 1:14 p.m. Saturday Jan. 4, someone called the sheriff’s office to report a suspicious vehicle near the cross streets of Mission Hills Drive and Rancho Viejo Road. A red Honda had swerved onto the sidewalk and into the bushes. No one was inside or near the vehicle.

At 8:04 p.m. Saturday Jan. 4, deputies received a call about a disturbance in the 32100 block of Paseo Carolina. A group of four teens was ding-dong-ditching in the neighborhood. At 8:35 p.m., another caller claimed the same four teens were in the local pool house, making noise and destroying objects.
