National Weather Service issues warnings. Please upload your photos, share with your neighbors.

High surf has forced the closure of Capistrano Beach and parking lot this morning, the Orange County parks department reports.

A large west swell originating from the central north Pacific will continue to impact the Orange County and San Diego County coastlines through Saturday afternoon, resulting in high surf and and dangerous rip currents, the National Weather Service says.

The high surf will combine with morning high tides to produce beach erosion and minor coastal flooding, forecasters say.
