KFC Drive-Through Boozer

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: These are selected reports from the San Juan Capistrano Police Dispatch Services log throughout the past few days.

The calls represent what was told to a sheriff's deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher. The true nature of an incident often differs from what is initially reported. No presumption of criminal guilt or affiliation should be drawn from the information provided. 

At 7:03 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 26500 block of Paseo Santa Clara. The informant reported there was a man with a shaved head who was known to the area who was causing a disturbance in the neighborhood. Deputies did not report an arrest. 

At 11:58 a.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a petty theft in the 33600 block of Camino Capistrano. The informant’s iPhone was reportedly stolen from the lobby of the on Camino Capistrano. 

At 8:59 a.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a suspicious circumstance near the Calle Ricardo-Peppertree Bend intersection. The informant appeared to be disturbed by a 40-year-old woman who was riding in a golf cart with several dogs off their leash. This has been an ongoing issue and the informant requested the deputies' assistance. 

At 1:03 a.m. Wednesday, the caller reported a drunk in public near the Del Obispo and Alipaz streets intersection. The informant was reportedly disturbed by a drunk man who was yelling at people on Del Obispo. 

At 10:10 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a traffic accident in the 26500 block of Camino De La Vista. Deputies responded to assist a citizen whose windshield was damaged by a large tree branch. There were no reported injuries. 

At 9:18 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a reckless driver near the intersection of Calle Belmonte and Calle Villa Clara. The report stated that a white Mercedes with no headlights on was seen swerving all over the road. Deputies did not report an arrest. 

At 6 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a drunk in public in the 26700 block of Verdugo Street. The report stated that a drunk man in his 40s was disturbing citizens at a bus stop on Camino Capistrano. 

At 5:23 p.m. Monday, deputies arrested a 22-year-old woman near the Paseo San Gabriel-Avenida De La Vista intersection. The man was arrested on suspicion of a battery assault and was taken into custody with no posted bail amount.

At 11:59 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 31600 block of Calle La Purisima. The informant was disturbed by several minors who were yelling and making too much noise in a neighborhood cul-de-sac. There was no report of an arrest. 

At 9:15 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a drunken driver in the 33900 block of Calle Borrego. The informant was working a night shift at a  and saw the driver of a silver Jeep take a shot of tequila while in the drive-through

I wasn't aware that the KFC had a drive through? Is it new?

It doesn't say the SJC KFC (which according to my chicken-eating family, does not have a drive-through). The employee had called from a house off of Las Ramblas. Maybe he worked at a KFC in San Clemente? But the call (what the blotter is, a collection of calls), came from San Juan.
