Loud Karaoke Prompts Call to Sheriff

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, two burglaries in progress, a stranger at the door starts screaming and more.

At 3:48 p.m. Sunday, the sheriff’s department received a complaint of loud karaoke singing in the 29600 Block of Orinda Road.

At 3:46 a.m. Sunday, a caller told dispatchers that a burglary was in progress in the 32700  block Parkside Way. There was no report of an arrest.

At 11:19 p.m. Saturday, a caller in the 31300 block of Los Rios Street phoned in to complain about a group of juveniles playing soccer in front of the informant’s house.

At 5:53 p.m. Saturday, a caller complained that a stranger came to her door and just started screaming at her. The disturbance was proposed in the 31900 block of Del Obispo Street. By the time deputies arrived, the stranger had left.

At 9:56 a.m. Saturday, a caller phoned the sheriff’s department to report a lost child found in the 26500 block of Paseo Del Mar.

At 6:28 a.m. Saturday, sheriff’s deputies were called to the 26600 block of Calle Lorenzo for a burglary in progress. A 39-year-old man was arrested, processed and released. There was no further information.
