Man in Black Seen Photographing Homes

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, a man arrested on suspicion of grand theft jewelry, a possible overdose and more.

At 8:32 a.m. Thursday, someone reported a grand theft in the 31600 block of Via Madonna. Jewelry was the item stolen. In connection with the call, deputies arrested a 40-year-old man. No bail amount was listed.

At 11:23 p.m. Wednesday, deputies were called to assist firefighters in the 33200 block of Via Mayor. According to the report, a female possibly overdosed on prescription medication.

At 10:34 a.m. Tuesday, someone called to report a suspicious man in a vehicle in the 31400 block of Paseo Duran. According to report, a heavyset man wearing all black in a Toyota Prius without plates was seen taking photographs of the houses on the street. Deputies were unable to contact the suspect.

At 9:43 a.m. Tuesday, a traffic accident was reported in the 33100 block of La Pluma. According to the report, a landscaping truck ran into an electrical box. No one was injured.

At 9:12 p.m. Monday, a woman called to report a battery in the 26500 block of La Zanja Street. She said several people, including an ex-boyfriend, showed up at her house. The ex reportedly committed the battery. The subjects were done by the time deputies arrived.
