A multicar pileup on Vista Montana near San Juan Hills High during afternoon pickup injured two and had traffic at a standstill this afternoon.
Lt. John Meyer, chief of police services for San Juan Capistrano, said two students received minor injuries in the accident, which ensnared six cars. An ambulance was on scene and one person was being loaded into it.
Students were ushered to the northwest side of campus.
"The accident is under investigation at this time," Meyer told Patch.
