Neighbor Sick of 'Big Kahuna' Motorhome

These are selected reports from the San Juan Capistrano Police Dispatch Services log throughout the past few days. The calls represent what was told to a sheriff's deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher. At 1:24 p.m. Wednesday, the owner of a black Dodge Charger said his vehicle was stolen – while at the Dodge dealership.

At 9:13 a.m. Wednesday, a caller told deputies that a motorhome and truck had been parked in the 33100 block of Camino Capistrano for more than four days. The motorhome had “Big Kahuna” on it, and the truck was of dark color.

At 11:33 a.m. Tuesday, a caller to the Sheriff’s Department complained about two motorhomes parked for more than 72 hours near the intersection of Camino Capistrano and Avenida Padre. The caller said one had a boat attached, the other a silver vehicle.

At 7:19 a.m. Tuesday, someone called the police to complain about two males going through trash cans and recycling bins in the 31300 block of Via Parra.

At 6:42 p.m. Monday, a hit-and-run felony was reported near the intersection of La Zanja and Los Rios streets. According to the report, the driver suspected of leaving the scene of an accident was in a red car with unknown plates. The driver of the other vehicle was complaining of pain.
