Resident Calls 911 over Website Shopping Charge

At 9:49 a.m. Monday, a caller reported an online transaction that defrauded the shopper. The informant, in the 28300 block of Via Mondano, said he bought some computer software online, and the company debited from his account a higher amount than the price of the software.

At 7:07 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a hit-and-run misdemeanor traffic accident near the intersection of Ortega Highway and Del Obispo Street. According to the report, a silver truck, possibly a Ford and raised, fled from the scene on southbound Del Obipso.

At 5:23 p.m Sunday, a caller reported that a child custody exchange had gone bad at the Carl’s Junior and deputy assistance was needed.

At 4:44 p.m. Sunday, someone called the sheriff’s department to report a missing child in the 27300 block of Via Priorato. By the time deputies arrived, the informant’s husband informed them that the child had been located.

At 12:55 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a male and female creating a disturbance at Historic Town Center Park.
