Police Arrest Suspect in Crash at Mobile Home Park
San Juan Capistrano resident Ramiro Flores-Tampa was arrested on suspicion of committing three felonies.
A 22-year-old San Juan Capistrano man was arrested over the weekend, suspected of speeding down Alipaz Street, crashing into a fence at a mobile home park and running from police.
On Saturday morning, police arrested Ramiro Flores-Tampa on suspicion of committing three felonies: evading police, hit and run and resisting arrest, Orange County Sheriff's Department Lt. John Meyer said.
According to the Sheriff's Department, at 1:40 a.m. Saturday, a sergeant spotted a car barreling down Alipaz without its lights on. The sergeant caught up to the driver, who subsequently turned on his overhead lights but continued for about a quarter of a mile before turning into a mobile home park in the 37000 block, authorities said.

The driver, later identified as Flores-Tampa, made several turns inside of the park before he crashed into a utility box and through a chain-link fence. Police say he immediately ran away, leaving his two uninjured passengers trapped in the car.
The passengers were taken into custody. Later that morning, the deputies found Flores-Tampa at his home and took him into custody.
