Possible Car Break-In Spooks Owners

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, a wobbly pedestrian, five teens disturb the peace, and an extremely grouchy customer.

At 9:44 a.m. Wednesday Dec. 11, a caller reported a burglary in the 27200 block of Ortega Highway. The caller said his Chevy Tahoe had been broken into while he was inside a local eatery. Deputies arrived to assist the caller, however no thief was found.

At 3:27 a.m. Monday Dec. 9, someone reported a suspicious person in the 31300 block of Los Rios Street. The caller said a 30-year-old man was stumbling into traffic and looked sick.

At 1:57 p.m. Tuesday Dec. 10, a caller reported a disturbance in the 31300 block of Los Rios Street. Five teens with black hoodies were playing loud music from a truck and disturbing pedestrians.

At 5:59 p.m. Tuesday Dec. 10, deputies received a call about a disturbance in the 32000 block of Camino Capistrano. The caller, who was the manager of a local store, claimed a 40-year-old man was screaming at employees at the front counter.

These are selected reports from the San Juan Capistrano Police Dispatch Services log throughout the past few days. The calls represent what was told to a sheriff's deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher.
