Racing Cars and Missing Kids

At 6:58 p.m. Monday, deputies received a report that two cars were racing each other near San Juan Creek Road and Camino Chico. No arrest was made.

At 9:02 a.m. Sunday, authorities were informed of two missing children. The children, who were last seen near the 31500 block of La Novia Avenue, were later found safe near Cook Park.
At 1:07 a.m. Monday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 26400 block of Briarwood Lane: Loud music and shouting from the backyard of a home. The party-goers eventually subsided.
At 12:41 p.m. Tuesday, callers reported a traffic hazard on the 5 Freeway near Ortega. A white Ford F150 obstructing traffic was pushed out of the road. The freeway was slowed until a tow truck arrived.
