Racing Cars Prompt Multiple Reports

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, a group of underage teens drinking, a suspicious person, and deputies search a suspicious vehicle.

At 2:55 p.m. Wednesday, someone reported a pair of speeding cars near Alipaz and Del Obispo streets. A black Mitsubishi and a red Mitsubishi were racing down the street. The caller claimed that people were beginning to take photos of the two cars. Several others called in the speeding duo.

At 4:38 p.m. Wednesday, a caller told deputies about a disturbance in the 32100 block of Paseo Carolina. The informant claimed a group of underage teens were drinking.

At 10:17 p.m. Wednesday, someone called the sheriff’s office to report a suspicious person in the 26300 block of Paseo Toscana. The informant was advised to check around the residence to see if the suspicious person had fled.

At 12:26 a.m. Thursday, deputies received a report about a person disturbing the peace in the 32200 block of Avenida Los Amigos. Deputies searched the offenders vehicle, but found nothing suspicious.
