San Juan Deputies Arrest Three Suspected of Vandalism

Two juveniles and one adult were arrested in two separate incidents.

Orange County Sheriff's deputies arrested three people for spray painting graffiti in the city over the past several days.

July 19 San Juan Capistrano Deputies arrested Anthony Carlos Cruz, 19, of San Juan Capistrano for tagging under the State Route 73 bridge at Camino Capistrano, said Lt. John Meyer, chief of San Juan police services, in an email.  

Cruz was allegedly painting letters that were approximately six feet in height. He is also under the gang injunction and was arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism and possession of vandalism tools.

The damage estimated to be around $1000.

July 25, San Juan Capistrano deputies arrested two San Juan Capistrano juveniles ages 16 and 14 for Spray painting graffiti on walls and signs in the 31000 block of Avenida De La Vista.

The juveniles were cited and eventually released to their parents.
