Deputies Hook up Known Gang Member

At 1:40 a.m. Thursday Nov. 21, a caller asked deputies to check on a pedestrian in the 26500 block of Paseo San Gabriel. The caller said a known gang member was in a local alleyway. Deputies arrived and arrested a 21-year-old gang member. The man is currently in custody with no bail amount posted.

At 10:34 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 20, someone reported a narcotics violation in the 32200 block of Alipaz Street. Deputies arrived to find a man in an alley with less than an ounce of illegal drugs. No arrest was made.
At 12:35 p.m. Thursday Nov. 21, someone called the sheriff’s office to report a theft in the 30600 block of Calle Chueca. The caller told deputies someone had stolen a stereo from his blue Nissan.
At 9:42 p.m. Thursday, deputies received a report about a traffic hazard in the 30700 block of Calle Chueca. The informant claimed a tree had fallen down and was blocking the street.
