SJC Man Allegedly Exposes Self at Beach
A 58-year-old man San Juan Capistrano man drops his drawers at Pirates Cove beach in Newport Beach.
A San Juan Capistrano man made an appearance on the Newport Beach Police Department arrest log in more ways than one Monday.
Newport Beach Police arrested a 58-year-old local man on the suspicion of indecent exposure, according to Kathy Lowe, a police spokeswoman. The department does not publicize the names of those its officers arrest.
The arrest took place 3:37 p.m. at Pirates Cove beach after the San Juan resident reportedly removed his bathing suit and exposed himself, Lowe said.

The area is a public beach, and isn’t known for skinny dipping, she said.
