Park Playground Is not for Alcohol

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, a family dispute requires deputy assistance, a gas station theft, and a probationer gets caught -- again.

At 11:29 a.m. Thursday Oct. 10, deputies received a report of a disturbance near the cross streets of Camino Capistrano and Forster Street. A group of eight men was drinking in a local children’s park.

Also:

At 4:20 a.m. Tuesday Oct. 8, someone reported a disturbance in the 26400 block of Woodcrest Lane. A caller told deputies about a family dispute that was occurring at a nearby home. Deputies arrived to diffuse the situation.

At 10:47 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 9, deputies recognized a probationer near the intersection of Alipaz and Del Obispo streets. During the pedestrian check, authorities confirmed the identity and arrested the 20-year-old man for an unknown violation. The man is currently in custody with no bail amount posted.

At 12:27 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 9, a concerned caller reported a petty theft in the 26500 block of Junipero Serra Road. A small theft had occurred at the local 76 gas station.
