Unconscious Man Found Near St. Margaret’s

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, a heated argument at a jewelry store, a suspicious loiterer, and an early morning dumpster dive.

At 5:07 p.m. Saturday Oct. 12, a concerned caller asked deputies to investigate a man down in the 31600 block of La Novia Avenue. A man was lying face down on the sidewalk near St. Margaret’s Episcopal School. Orange County firefighters arrived to assist the man.

Also:

At 2:29 p.m. Thursday Oct. 10, deputies were asked to help keep the peace in the 33900 block of Doheny Park Road. A heated argument was occurring at Monaco Jewelers.

At 3:19 p.m. Thursday Oct. 10, an informant called the sheriff’s office to report a suspicious person in the 31900 block of Camino Capistrano. A man was loitering outside the local Tae-Kwon-Do studio.

At 8:06 a.m. Friday Oct. 11, deputies received a call of a suspicious person in the 30900 block of Calle Santa Rosalia. A man was rummaging through the informant’s trash and putting objects into his pockets.

These are selected reports from the San Juan Capistrano Police Dispatch Services log throughout the past few days. The calls represent what was told to a sheriff's deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher. No presumption of criminal guilt or affiliation should be drawn from the information provided.
