Warrant Pulled, Man Arrested

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, an alleged drunken driver, a pair of dueling dirt bikes, and an angry roommate.

At 2:32 a.m. Tuesday Sept. 17, deputies pulled over a car for a routine traffic stop near the cross streets of Via Belardes and Del Obisbo Street. However, the driver had a warrant out for his arrest under the suspicion of violating various charges. Deputies arrested the 29-year-old man who is currently in custody with no bail amount posted.

At 2:49 p.m. Tuesday Sept. 17, someone reported a drunken driver near the cross streets of Camino Capistrano and Stonehill Drive. The alleged drunk pulled into the local Kia dealership for a long while.

At 3:55 p.m. Tuesday Sept. 17, deputies received a call about reckless driving near the cross streets of Alipaz Street and Camino Del Avion. Two men were riding dirt bikes in the creekbed at the dead end of Alipaz Street.

At 9:42 a.m. Wednesday Sept. 18, an angry informant called the sheriff’s office to ask for assistance. The caller explained that he was having issues with his roommate that needed to be resolved.
