Driver in White Truck Suspected of Casing Gas Stations for Robbery

At 10 p.m. Monday, someone called the sheriff’s department to report a white work truck with unknown plates going back and forth from the Shell gas station to the Spirit gas station on Junipero Serra Road just west of the I-5. The informant was concerned the driver may be casing the stations for a possible robbery.

At 7:43 a.m. Sunday, a caller reported that the traffic signals at the I-5 and Ortega Highway were “blacked out” in both directions.

At 6:02 p.m. Saturday, an adult female shoplifter was caught at Marshalls. She was reportedly cooperating with loss prevention personnel from the store.

At 11:54 a.m. Saturday, a fraud report was taken at the pro shop at the Marbella Golf and Country Club in the 30800 block of Golf Club Drive.

At 4 p.m. Friday, a caller reported reckless driving near the intersection of La Novia Avenue and Via Entrada. According to the report, two people were riding dirt bikes on a nearby trail.
