Local Lawmaker Hosts Community Forum Wednesday

Diane Harkey will talk about Sacramento happenings and discuss residents' questions at a 6 p.m. forum Wednesday at the San Juan Capistrano Community Center.

(R-Dana Point) will host a community forum Wednesday in San Juan Capistrano.

The meeting is intended to provide residents a better understanding of the
workings of Sacramento, "how it impacts you and employment" and "what you can do to help."

"I'm convinced that if we could get Sacramento and San Francisco politicos to come south, the Legislators and the Constitutional Officers would learn how a market economy really works," she wrote int he newsletter. "In spite of the dour news coming from the Capitol, it is refreshing to see and share business success stories in Southern California where we are still making the American dream happen."

The San Juan Capistrano forum is one in a series being held across Harkey's district. Time will also be allotted to residents who want to ask questions.
