Ortega Construction Week of April 7-13

Lane reductions and restricted pedestrian traffic -- what you need to know this week.

EDITOR'S NOTE: This update arrived late this week.

Pedestrian access is restricted on the north side of the Ortega Highway bridge over the I-5 freeway. This closure will last approximately two weeks and is necessary as crews work to demolish the barrier rail and sidewalk on the north side of the bridge in order to prepare for the demolition of the south side of the bridge this summer. Pedestrians will be directed to use the sidewalk on the south side of the bridge until a new sidewalk is constructed in mid-April. Please be advised that this work may be loud and disruptive due to demolition activities.

Scheduled nighttime closure(s) from Sunday, April 7 through Saturday, April 13 include:
