Time To Admit It: Bill Carson has always been right on the Gearbox issue ! You didn't have to be Einstein to read the newspapers and figure out it was the Gearbox ! You must have by now ultimately concluded that I was right all the time. You'll have to to admit I was right and I have been proven to be right . Just saying

An educated public won't be fooled by the wind turbine scheme again. The best way to deal with haters is don't let them phase you.The more the haters harass you, the more you should be motivated to succeed. They want to undermine you but your response should be to work that much harder in order to increase your level of success. When your reaction to their hostility has inspired you to achieve further success, you've transformed the haters' negativity into fuel for your creative fires. Not only can they not hurt you but they've inadvertently spurred you on to even greater heights.

Where are we with this? I'm a relatively new Portsmouth resident who lives pretty close to the turbine. I'm looking for resources to monitor what is happening. If someone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

Wind turbine expert looking at gear box today. If it looks too bad looks like they will go into a partnership with a private contractor. They will probably replace the current turbine with a larger two megawatt or larger wind turbine. The new turbine will be the new gear less wind turbine with permanent magnets. This is like someone bought the Brooklyn Bridge got taken and now they are going to buy another one ! Good luck with the shadow flicker, noise, ice and blade throw http://www.theportsmouthrecord.com/TownCouncil/ptc.8.27.12.Flash.htm Go to view the meeting at above URL .
