San Juan Capistrano Parking Permits Delayed

The news means you have a little more time to get your 2013-14 permit before ticketing begins.

Do you have a parking permit for the residential area near the San Juan Capistrano Library that’s about to expire? There’s good news on getting the replacement.

The city’s next round of permits, which take effect Aug. 15, came in a little late, the city reports. So San Juan Capistrano officials are giving you a grace period to get the new permit.

Enforcement on the following streets will begin Sept. 1, according to a news release from the city:

Also, you can renew your annual residential parking permits through the mail. If your information has not changed from last year's application, just complete and return a new parking permit application through the mail with your payment, according to the city.
