San Juan Wants Refund for Disappointing Fireworks Show

The contractor is also responsible for the show north of Los Angeles that injured 36.

Bay Fireworks, the contractor whose show north of Los Angeles injured 36 people on July 4, was also the company responsible for the San Juan Capistrano show many found disappointing.

The Orange County Register reports:

"No one was injured but plenty were disappointed when... in San Juan, a show that started late faltered after a few minutes with long pauses between fireworks that left people confused about whether the show was actually over."

The city will attempt to get money back for the $29,000 contract. Bay Fireworks also botched a show in Laguna Hills. Read the rest of the report here.
