San Juan Capistrano voters today the future of a development project that includes hundreds of homes, an office building and equestrian center while preserving acres of open space.

Measure B will determine future development of two sites in the city, including the Distrito La Novia and San Juan Meadows projects. Supporters argue the projects will be much less dense than a 1998 plan that has already been approved.

Opponents say the projects are still too dense, will increase traffic, send water rates soaring and harm already existing businesses.

Looking like SJC residents continue to bury their heads in the sand and unable to discern the ridiculous misrepresentations of the self serving City Council and developers in this election. The lambs have been led to to slaughter once Again.
