Architect Identifies $18.3 Mil in Construction Needs at Capo Valley

Overall, Capistrano Unified is staring down $822 million in needs. Here's Capistrano Valley High School's portion.

Capistrano Valley High School has $18.3 million worth of needs, according to a Capistrano Unified School District architect.

The figure also includes replacing half the portable classrooms, which accounts for $6.2 million of the total. Another $1.5 million would be spent to tackle routine maintenance the district has deferred in recent years, such as paint, heating, roofing and paving.

Capo Valley High is one of six district schools that have been identified as having potential structural safety issues which could lead to injury.
