For the second time, Anna Bryson, a Capistrano Unified School District trustee, will join the upper ranks of California Republicans in determining officials positions of the party on ballot initiatives and other endorsements.
She confirmed Friday that she's accepted a seat on the executive committee of the California Republican Party.
The committee consists of up to 100 appointees drawn from the ranks of elected officials, county party chairmen, volunteer organizations and state party officials.
Appointments are made at the invitation of the state party chairman, Tom Del Beccaro, whom Bryson lauded for reaching out "across California with our message of inclusion to all communities."
A Laguna Niguel resident, Bryson is in the midst of her second four-year term on the Board of Trustees for Capistrano Unified.
