Morning of Storytelling

This event will feature local storytellers Cynthia Callard and Victoria Burnett. Cynthia is the senior art instructor at the Bowers Children's Museum. She opened the Terra Cotta Warriors at the Bowers with a tale she wrote for the occasion. This masterful storyteller has been part of the South Coast Storytellers Guild presentations at Heritage Hill summer and Christmas holiday storytelling fests for the past 12 years. 

Victoria is the lower-school librarian at St. Margaret’s School. She tells her stories through song and voice. A lyric soprano, her musicality is often described as brilliant. She blends her skills as a teacher, librarian, singer and performer to become what she calls a “StoryMusicologist.”
