JSerra Names Interim President

Robert Dolan Jr. steps in the position for three months while a committee continues to find a replacement for Frank Talarico.

Another change in the leadership at : The school has hired an interim president to serve while a search committee seeks a permanent president.

The school has been without a president and chief executive officer since Frank Talarico left in February to head up Goodwill of Orange County.

Meanwhile, Robert Dolan Jr. of San Juan Capistrano is serving for three months as the school’s interim president, effective immediately, according to a school press release.

Dolan is a businessman who has served on the JSerra Board of Directors.

“Through this role, has made significant contributions to the school cmmunity in just a few months,” said Tim Busch, JSerraʼs chairman and co-founder, in a press release. Busch has been serving as the interim president until now.

“JSerra is blessed to have him in this interim position where he will undoubtedly help the school to grow until a permanent candidate is appointed,” he said.

Having attended Catholic school from elementary to graduate school, Dolan is committed to Catholic education, the school reported. He holds a master’s of business administration from the University of San Diego, and spent 10 years in the family insurance business, growing his company fivefold.
