San Juan scored twice in the final minute to tie the game and then got the ball back with seconds to go on the clock. Goalie Parker Luehe shot the ball, but the University City defender drew a foul by going up to block with two hands.

San Juan was given a 5-meter penalty shot in which Chris Garau scored the winning goal.
