Traffic Snarled on the Way to San Juan Hills High

A message from Tom Ressler.

A message about traffic at San Juan Hills High from Principal Tom Ressler:

This is a message to remind everyone that, except for -0- period students, school starts at 7:54 each morning. In fact the bell to alert students to go to class rings at 7:44.

As we all know too well, whether it’s due to our single road of entry, the major construction on Ortega, or the fact that some simply don’t like to be on campus a little early, traffic is a major reality for our school and it is imperative that parents, students and staff recognize that traffic is not a surprise and therefore it is necessary when coming to school to plan for that reality.

In addition to arriving earlier, I want to also remind our community that safe and courteous driving practices must be observed.  It is in no one’s interest to cause an accident or injury because of frustrations.  Please know that we have notified the Sheriffs Dept about some recent poor driving practices and they will be assisting and monitoring as they are able.

Again, we all know how frustrating traffic can be in the mornings.  Thanks in advance for working together to make some simple changes such as arriving a little earlier to help everyone arrive to school safely and on time.
