Farm to Market Grocery Store to Close
For 20 years, it's been a staple in the community, fronted by colorful farm equipment.
After 20 years in business, the quirky natural foods store Farm to Market in the colorful Vermeulen Shopping Center on Del Obispo Street in San Juan Capistrano is closing.
Manager Cindy Weimer has been there for 15 years of the 20, and says many of her staff has been alongside her for 10-plus years.
"My staff is all sad, the community is sad," Weimer said. "My staff is one big family."
The going-out-of-business sale started Monday, and Weimer expects next Friday to be the store's last.
"We just decided to let her die with dignity," she said. "We’re really going to miss everyone in the community."
