Surf-a-Rama

This event will feature several prominent surf legends and authors: 

Kathy Zuckerman (The real Gidget): Kathy is widely recognized as a pioneering female surfer and an inspiration to generations of surfer girls worldwide. She

Mike Hynsen: Co-star in the original Endless Summer. Mike is now designing surfboards andliving just north of San Diego. His autobiography is titled Transcendental Memories of a Surf Rebel.

Marshall Lubin: Author of the autobiographical From Boys 2 Men: An Adventure in Paradise, an audacious tale of two young boys, age 17, embarking on a surfing trip to Hawaii that evolved into a two-year adventure in the South Pacific and a circumnavigation of the globe. 

Jim Kempton: Jim was the publisher of Surfer magazine and now is president of the California Surf Museum (Oceanside) and board president of the San Onofre State Beach Interpretive Assoc. He is the author of Surfing: The Advanced Manual. 

Serge Dedina: A surfer,  eco-warrior and author of Wild Sea: Eco-Wars and Surf Stories from the Coast of the Californias, in which he gives a firsthand account of battles won and lost against poachers, politicians, private companies and government agencies

Gary Wright: One of the founders of Killer Dana Surf Shop, Gary and co-editor G. Murray Thomas have created Paper Shredders, an Anthology of Surf Writing.
