OC Parks and Friends of Harbors, Beaches and Parks bring you a day of games and friendly competition for equestrians, their families and their horses.
Navigate simple obstacles on the park’s trails to win prizes! You can add bonus points with a short trail ride on your steed to the park’s Stairway Lookout.
You and your mount can suit up for the “Best of the West” horse and rider costume contest (child and adult categories)!
There will be live music performed by Jimi Nelson and the Drifting Cowboys and food available for purchase from Burrell’s Bar-B-Que! You can also play horseshoes and enter to win the opportunity drawing.
There is a $10 pre-registration fee ($15 on event day) to Friends of Harbors, Beaches and Park (registration fee includes a meal ticket). Same day registration ends at 9 a.m.
Staging area and trailer parking will be at Parking Lot #3. Parking is $5 per vehicle. Come compete in this family-friendly horse event!
