Football: Mater Dei 38, JSerra 14

JSerra breaks through in the first quarter and leads, but it doesn't last long as the Lions lose their second in a row.

JSerra is looking for any positive steps forward that it can find this season, and the Lions did break through somewhat—with a first quarter touchdown—but they ultimately were no match for a more physical Mater Dei squad.

The Monarchs continued their mastery over JSerra with a 38-14 Trinity League victory Friday at Saddleback College.
