More than 9,500 fans came out to watch the Rancho Mission Viejo Rodeo in San Juan Capistrano this weekend, according to a spokeswoman for the ranch.

The purse topped $220,000, said Diane Gaynor. The event is also a fundraiser, with Rancho Mission Viejo donating proceeds to Shea Therapeutic Riding Center, Camino Health Center, CHOC at Mission Hospital Medical Center and the San Juan Capistrano Open Space Foundation.

All-around cowboy: Trevor Brazile, $3,867, tie-down roping and team roping.
