Ix-Nay on the Freeway Closure This Weekend

For the second week in the row, a Caltrans contractor has cancelled a full-freeway closure at the i-5 and Ortega Highway. 

The closure was supposed to occur last weekend, Dec. 6-7, but got postponed until this weekend because of weather.

Now, city officials have been notified that the closure is cancelled because of "operational factors."

"An updated alert will be published once the full closures have been rescheduled," a Caltrans notice sent today says.
