In the coming weeks, crews will continue work to reconstruct the south half of the Ortega Highway bridge at the I-5 Freeway, according to Caltrans.
Workers will complete several concrete pours as well as begin to erect falsework in November. Full nighttime closures of the I-5 will be necessary to safely facilitate the construction of the bridge falsework, according to a Caltrans notice.
Nighttime closures of the northbound and southbound I-5 will not take place simultaneously, with only one direction of the freeway being closed at any given time. Specific closure schedules will be publicly announced ahead of time, according to Caltrans.

Lane closures on the northbound I-5 between Camino Capistrano and Junipero Serra Road closures nightly, tonight through Thursday between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Lane reduction on the southbound I-5 between Junipero Serra Road and Camino Capistrano nightly, Tuesday through Thursday between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Lane closure on eastbound Ortega Highway between Del Obispo Street and Rancho Viejo Road tonight between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Northbound I-5 onramp from Ortega Highway closed nightly, tonight through Thursday between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Northbound I-5 off-ramp to Ortega Highway closed nightly, Monday through Thursday between 11:59 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Southbound I-5 onramp from Ortega Highway closed nightly, tonight through Thursday between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.
