With all these activities this week, you can feel very cultured!

1. Is Thanksgiving at your place? Invite a Marine: If you would like to host two or more U. S. Marines for Thanksgiving Dinner from the city's adopted 1/11 Marine Regiment based at Camp Pendleton, please contact Chaplain Garrett at (760) 725-9821 or by email at benton.garrett@usmc.mil

We ask that you be able to provide transportation if possible and be willing to host two or more Marines and/or sailors for dinner. Requests for the Marines' and sailors' company must be made by Nov. 15.

2. Wanna see a principal dress up as a bunny? The Ambuehl Elementary PTA is sponsoring a “Boogie with the Bunny” contest now through Friday, Nov. 15.  If there are 100 new PTA members by Nov. 15, then Principal Curt Visca will dress-up in a full bunny outfit and do Funky Friday from the roof at school!  A pink “Boogie with the Bunny” flyer was sent home last week with all of the details.  Extra copies are in the front office and online at the PTA’s website.
