Camino Real Playhouse
949-489-8082
For over 20 years, the Camino Real Playhouse has produced theatrical productions, including close to two dozen written by Shakespeare. The theater is a non-profit organization and is managed by the Capistrano Center for the Performing Arts, a group of theater patrons and professionals committed to having live theater in South Orange County. The playhouse is located in the heart of the town, next to the Historic Towne Center Park. It also produces several playwriting festivals which showcase up and coming playwrights. Recent season plays included Pirates of Penzance, Greetings and Breaking Up is Hard to Do, the Neal Sedaka musical.
