Los Rios Street Historic District

Flag as Inappropriate

The Los Rios Street Historic District is the first street ever built in the town and it is best toured by foot. Parking is available on the other side of the train track near the station, or on the west side at the Los Rios Park. There are shops, restaurants and parks located on this side of the tracks, including some of the town's original and oldest buildings. The setting is picture-perfect, with gift stores stocked with swallow bird souvenirs and objects. The Los Rios Park is furthest to the west and has a modern play area for children. There is a petting zoo, a museum that celebrates the town of San Juan Capistrano and an old-fashioned tea parlor where it's nice to take a break and sit in the shade with a pot of tea.
