Marco Forster Middle School

<p>Marco Forster Middle School is a large school with a diverse population. Its mascot is the roadrunner, and pennants from colleges and universities decorate the front office. Its motto is "Roadrunners are College Bound." </p> <p>The school's namsake, Marco (Tom) Forster, was a charter member of the volunteer fire department, a justice of the peace of San Juan Township and a school board member from 1935-1965. The middle school was the district's first after unifying with San Clemente and Serra (Capistrano Beach) school districts. </p> <p>Marco Forster is part of a three-school campus near the San Juan Capistrano Community Center, Sports Park and Boys and Girls Club. It shares its campus with Del Obispo Elementary and Kinoshita Elementary schools.</p>
