Head Start is a national pre-school education program that was created by the United States government in 1965. It…More provides education, health, nutrition and parent involvement services to low-income children and their families.</p> <p>This particular Head Start program is located at the Community Presbyterian Church. The curriculum prepares youngsters for their continued education before they reach the first grade. Children between ages 2 - 6 are eligible for the program. All children must be potty-trained in order to be considered. Parents do not need to be members of the church to apply.</p> <p>The Head Start program at Community Presbyterian is open to children of all races, nationalities and beliefs. There is a fee to enroll a child, but financial assistance is also available.</p>
