There is a petting zoo, a museum that celebrates the town of San Juan Capistrano and an old-fashioned tea parlor where it's nice to take a break and sit in the shade with a pot of tea.

Although modern in design, the park retains the small-town character that is native to the area. It is adjacent to the historic Montanez Adobe and is within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The park has a play area for children as well as picnic and recreation areas. There are restrooms. Walking paths connect to the Trabuco Creek Trail and the train station. The park is operated by the City of San Juan Capistrano.

Visitors today are allowed to view the house, which is furnished in the style of that period, and view all of the collected photos and archives of the town.
