JSerra Catholic High School is a private school under the direction of the Orange County Archdiocese of the RomanMore Catholic Church. The school is open to students of all faiths, but the curriculum is based on the teachings of Catholicism. All students take four years of religion and tuition is the same regardless of religious beliefs.

It is a relatively new facility yet has quickly become a respected school due to the high college acceptance rate of its pupils. Grades nine through 12 are enrolled at the coed school. There is an active sports program that covers winter, spring and summer sports teams, and the grounds include a football field, pool and gymnasium. San Juan Capistrano, population 34,839 according to 2006 Census data, is nestled among rolling hills and locatedMore directly off the I-5. Its residents distinguish their city from other South Orange County ones by highlighting its history as one of California's oldest towns, and its swaths of open space and its numerous schools, including four private high schools. 

The city is located less than four miles from the coast, with an easily accessible trail that leads bicyclists and pedestrians to Doheny Sate Beach. Its small downtown is filled with mom-and-pop restaurants and retailers, but its crown is the Mission San Juan Capistrano—"The Jewel of the Missions"—which was founded in 1776. Visitors departing the Amtrak or Metrolink train enter the heart of downtown in the Los Rios Historic District, which comprises one of the oldest continuing neighborhoods in Orange County, including three adobe homes built in 1794.

In the shadows of the historic San Juan Capistrano Mission, San Juan Elementary, also known as San Juan School, isMore South Orange County's oldest school. It's celebrating its 160th anniversary in the 2010-11 academic year.

For students in kindergarten through sixth grade, San Juan Elementary features the "Two-Way" dual-immersion program. This program helps students to achieve bi-literacy in English and Spanish. It's such a popular program, parents must put their children on a waiting list to get in.

The school requires uniforms and features two modern computer labs.

Financial planners are on hand to assist clients with estate planning and monetary investments. There are branches scattered throughout Orange County and southern California. The ATM machine is outside.
