The Regency Theater is located in the Franciscan Shopping Plaza and is across the street from the train station. TheMore building may look and feel as though it has been there forever, but it's actually a new, state-of-the-art cinema palace that is a part of the Regency Theater chain. Regency has the first in-theater dining experience in the area. The four-auditorium theater has a 50-seat VIP auditorium on the top floor called Rick's Café. It follows the Casablanca theme with archways, a mirrored bar and indoor and outdoor seating. Food ordered from Rick's Café is served in the comfort of your posh leather seat while you watch the movie. The menu was created by Chef Bernard Frehner and some of the top picks are: shrimp bisque or clam chowder soup, a Kobe beef burger, buffalo chicken fritters, crispy halibut and quesadilla. There is a full wait staff and a wine and beer menu.

The Kepler Foundation is a nonprofit science advocacy organization that's producing a revival showing of CarlMore Sagan's 1980 docuseries "Cosmos" at the Regency Theater, called "Cosmos: Then & Now." The show promotes science and nature advocacy via an entertainment platform. Episodes are presented on a monthly basis and provide updates on the advancements of space exploration from scientists and expert astronomers.

Located in the Franciscan Plaza, Frio makes all of its gelato, or frozen Italian ice cream, at this location usingMore organic ingredients.  While gelato is usually made with cream, here at Frio the frozen treat is made with yogurt. It still packs the traditional flavor of gelato, but with a fraction of the calories. Flavors include deep chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and mocha espresso. With a few sidewalk tables, seating options indoors and Regency Theater as its neighbor, Frio is the perfect post-movie date stop.
